Meet York

York is one of the most affectionate, sweet, and innocent cats you'll ever meet. As far from the "independent cat" stereotype as you can get, he loves being held, kissed, pet ALL over (no area is off limits), and generally coddled! A true lapcat, York will sit in your lap and purr while receiving face scratches from his people. (See this additional video: https://youtube.com/shorts/jqGgDY_vGJE?feature=share) York also ADORES other cats, and will follow them around everywhere and even wants to nap pressed right up against them. Apart from cuddling with humans and cats, he enjoys spending his days on his cat tower, or jumping from window to window to watch the birds. York LOOKS much older than he is because he needed a lot of teeth removed after rescue—he’s actually only about five years old. This boy is terrific company and truly a joy to be around.
