Meet xCOURTESY POST- Ollie
STAR is a foster-based rescue. All our rescue animals stay in foster homes until adoption. We do not have a central facility. If you want to meet any of our adoptables please submit an application.
I'm Ollie - a European short hair cat I think. As far as I know, I'm pretty healthy, other than my indoor kitty tummy. I'm looking for a home that would offer me my own spot to be cozy and safe.
I love to sit by the sliding glass door and watch.... leaves, chipmunks, birds. Like to eat, play with my toys, love-up on my owner, and sometimes chase my own tail. I'm gentle and loving, yet can be shy. I had laser surgery to remove my front claws, and therefore like to stay indoors; although if you hang out on the porch, I might like to venture out there with you. I am not up to date on vaccinations. I like to be around my people.
I had a cat companion for 8 years and we were very close. When she passed away, I had to learn to sleep alone. I started having a little anxiety which caused me to clean my belly extra well, and much of the time, I have no fur there. But I'm a loving, clean, tidy kitty. If you are interested in adopting Ollie please contact his owner at

THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING. STAR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING OR FOR THE TRANSFER OF GUARDIANSHIP. PLEASE CONTACT THE EMAIL PROVIDED FOR ANY QUESTIONS OR INQUIRIES.
All STAR animals come vetted, Up to Date (UTD) on age appropriate shots and testing, spay and neutered (if of age,) and microchipped.
AGE DISCLAIMER:
Unfortunately, most of the orphaned animals that come into our rescue looking for homes don't bring birth certificates. Sometimes we know our pets' ages. Sometimes we don't. So we make our best guess based on the condition of their teeth and the veterinarians best guess.
BREED DISCLAIMER:
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality,
not
by breed label .
Microchips:
For the safety of our dogs and peace of mind of our fosters and adopters, STAR microchips all dogs prior to adoption with Petlink Microchips. Please understand that all dogs MUST still wear a collar with ID tags (which include your current information) AT ALL TIMES. Please remember, our foster dogs are extremely important to us-- we will always take any of our dogs back, if for any reason you can't keep your adopted dog. Never surrender him/her to a shelter!
