There are 7 kitties total and in order of pictures are the descriptions . Please let me know if you have any questions.
1-Abbie- She is 4 and needs to be spayed. She is very cautious and shy until she knows you and feels she’s safe ….it took a little longer with her and her sister Amelia. Abbie was very scared at first being outside in the street so she hid and only came out to eat and drink water. After a while of me visiting and acknowledging her by calling her name and talking to her even if she went back to her hiding spot she began to trust me and then her sweet personality came through!! She loves wet food as dry and is super affectionate. She enjoys rubs and scratches as being close to her trusted human and at this time is me. Really , really likes freeze dried salmon treats. She is also close with her sister Amelia.. they show affection toward one another and it is very sweet to witness . It would be great if they remained together.
2-Dusty- neutered, 4yrs old.
He is a bit shy and cautious at first since being abandoned and living outside yet when he trusts you he is the most loving ,protective , thoughtful boy. He seems to do well with a gentle man and his female dog (older English cocker spaniel) that walk around the neighborhood and pass the building. I’ve witnessed how well he is around the elder doggie while I’ve hung around with him after feeding time. He eats well and likes both wet and dry as his freeze dried salmon and minnow treats. He and Zeek are blood related and bonded… they are extremely close. Would be great if they remained together.
3-Mingus -neutered, 4yrs old. Mingus is a very playful, beautiful , long boy who loves to hunt bugs and chase any string toy I take. He has beautiful orange markings on his body that seem like a heart to me. He’s the main protector of the clan along with his brothers Zeek and Dusty when any other unknown cats tries to come near his siblings he’s the first up. Dusty and Zeek sometimes pick on him and I feel he would do his best as an only cat child. He loves all the undivided attention and lovings you can give! His eyes are often watery as he has allergies due to wind, dust, etc. and worse now due to the fires and air quality. He loves wet food and eats dry as well. Loves freeze dried salmon treats and minnows.
4-Zeek- neutered, 4years old. Zeek is all love. Very friendly but if he feels bad energy around he is quick to disappear until he feels safe again. Both him and his brother look alike yet Zeek has the longer thicker tail. He enjoys lots and lots of petting and loves to sit on my legs and purrrr. He also loves freeze dried salmon treats and minnows. Zeek is blood related to Dusty and they are very , very close and look out for each other. It would be great if they can be foster and /or adopted together.
5-Jade-spayed around 1-2 years old. She’s a communicator with beautiful eyes and loves to be spoken to and lots of rubs all over once she trusts you. She loves to flop so you can give her all the love. She is super connected to me (I wish I could take her but it is impossible for me at this time as I cannot have any more cats in my apartment) and I feel she would do better with a female companion with a quieter nature in general. I took her to the affordable vet clinic to check her out and she received her rabies vaccine. I have the paper work. Her voice is beautiful and tender and will ask for love and food. She is very food motivated. Prefers wet food but will eat dry as well. Loves freeze dried salmon treats .
6-Lucky-spayed 5 1/2 years old. She’s a princess lady. She allows pets but only when she is okay with them and ready to receive them. You have her earn her trust and love. She enjoys my fave and heads rubs especially but enjoys all the lovings, petting and kitty talk and she loves back as we have developed a trust and respect. She loves scratching the scratching cardboard boxes i take and to play with a worm string. She seems like an amazing hunter with the worm toy. She’s a beauty and the picture does not due her justice. Her energy is very feminine yet she stands up for herself with her brothers unlike her other sisters. I feel she would do well in a single cat home.
7- Amelia. I’m most worried about her as her survival. I couldn’t get a good picture but she looks like Abbie first picture . She’s 4 and needs to be spayed like her sister. Amelia has trauma from being left and the outdoors as she was hurt by someone unfortunately at some point in the beginning as she got lost from her siblings and stayed away for a while. When she came back I knew someone had hurt her and it broke my heart . I made it my mission to help her re-trust humans and she slowly has trusted me to the point where she greets me and rubs herself on my legs and wants affection. She needs someone very patient and kind who is willing to wait until she’s ready to give love back and feel safe. She is a loving and affectionate kitty girl once she trusts. She needs someone very patient during feeding time as she only eats wet food if I hold her can of food for her or waits for leftovers from her siblings as there is a high probability she was attacked by some other cat from the neighborhood as now is scared to eat when others are. Her siblings are fine with her but she’s always looking over her shoulder so she waits until they are all done. With dry food she’ll take some and go somewhere alone and eat. She is smaller and thinner than the others that is why I started holding the can so she feels safe and gets her portion. She is close mostly with her sister Abbie and they would be great if adopted or fostered together.
