Hello. My name is Woods. I came to the shelter as a stray so we do not know much about my history with children, dogs, and other cats. The person who found me said I didn't get along with the cats in their home. I have been very friendly with the staff during my stay. Woods exhibited a grade 3-4/6 heart murmur. Heart murmurs arise from turbulent blood flow in the heart and can have a multitude of causes. Murmurs can be caused by structural abnormalities within the heart, systemic or metabolic conditions. Depending on the underlying reason it may not require treatment or cause a problem in the near future. Please see your veterinarian within 1 week of adopting your pet concerning these conditions. Please continue all medications as prescribed until that time.
