Meet Wonder, our delightful and demure special lady.

The rescue met Wonder and 7 kittens (Taj, Mahal, Henge, Itza, Chichen, Roma and Ghiza… phew! You see what we did there?) last kitten season when she was brought in by a kindhearted individual doing rescue work.


A little over 2 years old, Wonder is ready to find her home where she can cuddle with her humans at bedtime and find ways to entertain herself throughout the day. She’s pretty lowkey and an easy and fun companion to have around.

Her fosters have remarked at how SWEET Wonder is. So playful, loved watching tv (cat-focused videos or birds and squirrels, but also just hanging on the couch watching Netflix). She was so tolerant to any sort of petting and loving and snuggles.

While it was immediately obvious that Wonder was doing more than an incredible job raising her kittens, we noticed that she had a little extra specialness to herself as well! Born with a likely congenital deformity, Wonder has a leg that sticks out like a kickstand. This does not slow her down one bit though. After many vet visits and specialty consultations, it was decided that Wonder’s special leg does not cause any immediate issue with her health and therefore does not need any special surgical intervention at the time.
