Meet Wispy

WISPY is a darling, gentle tortico girl with a kink in her tail, about 10 months old. She has the softest coat and the tuxie facial markings are of a classic tuxedo look. She is happiest playing with her siblings or just basking in the sunshine. Like all of her siblings, she is a sweet angel. While Wispy does not run up to new people, she does not run from them either. She warms up very quickly to anyone. Wispy and her siblings were rescued from a hoarder situation and flourished in a loving foster home. They tested positive for Feline Leukemia virus (FeLV). Cats with leukemia typically live regular healthy lives until they reach the end of the disease. The FeLV does mean Wispy will have to be indoor-only and live only with FeLV positive cats (such as her siblings Cheeto or Sprinkles). Their lifespans may be shorter than those of normal cats, but otherwise she is in good health and will bring many years of joy and companionship to her lucky forever home. It is unknown how she is with other dogs, but she could acclimate to a friendly, cat-savvy dog as her playful companion as long as there is a slow introduction. This sweet and loving girl will be the most affectionate addition to your home.

Wispy is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet Wispy in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy at either Eugene PetSmart location. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The adoption fee is $70, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID# 2101-C0035 (WISPY)
