Willy (aka Wilhelm Von Cuddletum) Domestic Short Hair Warminster, PA

Handsome Willy came to Cat Tales from another rescue in the city. He was a stray, living near the Temple campus, always friendly, following the students around. One took him in until her landlord found out and they put him back outside. Another took him in until her roommate came back found out the roommate was allergic so he got stuck back outside again. That's when he went to the rescue who then transferred him to Cat Tales to find him a home. Willy was understandably a little stressed when he arrived at his foster home after all the changes he'd been through. In about a week he came around to fully trusting his new foster family. He was just wary for about a week or being touched too much. Now that he knows his foster offers him nothing but love, he's blossomed into an absolute snuggle bug. His favorite thing is when his foster mom or dad snuggle on the couch with him so he can make biscuits on the fleece blanket and purr up a storm. He likes to play but is particular about toys. After he's gotten to know and trust you, he loves to get head, cheek, and chin scritches and he really loves to have the bridge of his nose rubbed. He also enjoys sitting in the window watching the birds and squirrels, but is very happy he's on the inside side of the window these days. Willy definitely eats like a cat who had always worried when and from where his next meal will come, but he's in great shape. He's very healthy, but he did test positive for FIV. That means he has a weaker immune system, so it's important that he be kept strictly indoors and get his annual wellness exams and vaccines. But FIV+ kitties live long, healthy lives. FIV is only passed through a deep bite wound, so with a proper, slow introduction, Willy could live with another friendly kitty. He is a darling boy who has had a very uncertain start in life. At just two years old, if you look into his beautiful green eyes, you will see a wise old soul looking back at you.
