Meet Whoopie Pie & Willow
Whoopie Pie came to us in July of 2020. We aren't sure what happened to him, but he was a tiny little thing. He was completely malnourished, sick, and completely skittish. It was quickly realized that he didn't really trust humans, so we set out on a quest to make him realize that we're not all bad. Part of that quest included moving him to a new foster home that was nice and quiet, where he could receive some one on one time from someone perfect for him! We were lucky enough to have just that very person!
Trust was a slow process for Whoopie. He loved to be close to his new foster mama, and he wanted that love, but it was very much on his terms. Sudden movements still scared him, and we were honestly afraid he'd never get much better.
Then came Willow. She was found by a friend of the foster at one of the local country clubs. She was brought in, health checked, and after she got settled in she was introduced to Whoopie. To say that it was love at first sight was an understatement. These two have been two peas in a pod ever since, and even better is that she helped this scared boy come out of his shell!
They will both need to find their forever home together. It will need to be a home with no small children or crazy pooches. They thrive in a quiet environment where they can just chill out beside you and not have to worry about being chased.
We'd love to set up a virtual meet and greet so you can see that you will adore these two beautiful babies as much as we do. They are very much in need of a forever home.
