Meet Whiskers

Whiskers and her siblings were trapped around 3 months old, outside fending for themselves without a mom. However, she has adjusted to indoor life very well and loves the company of humans. She is the alpha female of her siblings and can be a bit hard headed. She decides if its play time and loves to chase wand toys or climb and chase items.

Whiskers will take treats very gently from your hands and might even follow you around. She even unties shoes! However, she is not fond of being picked up or loved on unless its her idea. She isn't quite a lap kitty, yet. However, with time and patience, she is getting there. She might run from you until you sit down to be ensured you won't grab her. Give her a treat though, and she is your new best friend. Whiskers would do best in a household that will be very patient, and allow for a slow introduction. She would also benefit if she stays with one of her siblings or has another cat in the household to show her the ropes of being an indoor kitty.

Whiskers is negative for FIV/FeLV, spayed or neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. The kitty has a microchip that will be transferred to the adopter upon completion of the adoption process. The adoption fee is $90.00.
