Meet Waylon

Waylon came to us from a high kill NC shelter, in a last minute effort to save his life with 30 other cats. He is nothing short of a teddy-bear, and a joy to have around. This handsome guy, has had his dental work completed and he's one of the most sociable and affectionate guys here, with not only humans but with all the other cats. He RUNS to greet everyone who comes to visit. He is one of our fiv+ cats, but given the healthy lifestyle we maintain for our residents thru proper nutrition and mandating responsible vaccination protocols, this enables all of our cats to remain in tip top health living a quality of life, that most humans don't realize. He may have been a puppy dog in a past life, the way he follows everyone around, who comes to visit.

We are a "Protect the Pets" rescue with established nutritional protocols for our obligate carnivorous cats. We mandate responsible vaccination protocols and titer testing with Kansas State Veterinary Lab, in order to provide continuous protection and compliancy with the Rabies Control Act of South Carolina Rabies Statute Section 47-5-60. Please ensure your vet recognizes titers and is willing to offer affordable titer testing versus blindly overdosing pets with unnecessary vaccinations which contribute to the 50% national cancer rates being newly diagnosed annually in 10 million companion animals. The health of our pets is our main priority, and we require our nutritional and vaccination protocols be maintained. We will not allow our pets to be subjected to even a second unnecessary vaccination overdose, when checking titers can easily be incorporated into annual wellness exams for our animals.

The entire veterinary file always accompanies each of our cats upon adoption and we provide full transparency with the care we have provided.
