Meet Wassail
Wassail came to us when her family felt she was not safe around the small children in the home. When she arrived she was scared and unsettled and lashed out a bit, but after a few days her aggression melted away and she has shown no sign of that behaviour since. She has now been spayed and has no known health concerns. Wassail uses her litter box and has a good appetite. At 18 months old, she will continue to grow a bit but is likely going to be a petite cat even when she is an adult.
At the shelter Wassail mostly keeps to herself, up high on a shelf surveying the room. She likes pets and playtime though. Because she is a youngster, she would benefit from another cat in the home for company. Due to her history, we would recommend she not go into a home with young children, but older cat savvy kids would not be an issue.
