Meet Wallace

Wallace is a stunning mini panther who is sure to steal your heart. This boy is a little over 1 years old and is friendly, outgoing and vocal! This chatty fella is sure to tell you all about his day, and loves to hear about yours! He loves to play with his kitty toys and will bat them around until he successfully destroys each and every one, happily awaiting his new set. But make no mistake, Wallace is a softy and will give you his lovable, ""give me food"" eyes when its time for dinner.

Wallace loves to be pet and given lots of attention. If ignored, he will give you little nibble to remind you he is there! He loves nothing more than his window spot where he can enjoy the warm sunshine and watch his bird tv. Wallace can sometimes get over stimulated with playing and would do well in a home without young kids. While FIV+, most of cats go on to live healthy and normal lives, and Wallace deserves nothing more than to be the spoiled house cat he has always hoped to be!

Wallace can't wait to find his purrfect home, perhaps that is with you? He patiently waiting to read all his adoption applications, available below!

All over the country cats with FIV are often euthanized or considered not adoptable even though most FIV+ cats go on to live normal, healthy lives. TLCR believes that education is key to helping FIV+ cats find the loving adoptive homes that they deserve. Please read below and do not hesitate to reach out with any questions! e:

FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds typically seen in male cats who are not neutered, living outside, and fighting over territory or resources.
FIV does NOT spread through grooming, playing, sharing bowls, or litter boxes.
Science proves that FIV+ cats live just as long as their negative counterparts with proper care.
FIV is NOT the same as feline leukemia or human HIV.
Humans or dogs can NOT contract FIV.
Cats who test positive for FIV need the same basic care as cats who test negative. Yearly check-ups at the vet, to live indoors, and be fed good quality food.
FIV+ cats shouldn't live with cats who are known carriers of feline herpes virus as they are moresusceptible to infections.
