VIVIENNE Look at those eyes! She is a beautiful gray and white spayed female Perisan and Turkish Angora mix cat who is one of our international cat rescues that we are lucky to have had the opportunity to assist in finding a new home for! VIVIENNE is approximately 1.5 years old, healthy and ready for adoption here in the USA (NYC area)

VIVIENNE was originally for sale in a pet store as a kitten, but when she got too big, no one wanted to buy her and our rescue partners found her left alone in a dirty small cage in the back of the store waiting to be saved. Despite this treatment from humans, Vivienne absolutely loves everyone and has an amazing personality! She can go to a home with other cats, dogs, and young children but ONLY if the children are respectful towards the pets in the home!

She has been fully vetted and is vaccinated (rabies and distemper), blood tested negative for feline viral infections; FIV/FLeV, microchipped and treated for fleas/ticks/dewormed.

We read every application that is submitted and it can take us 2-4 days to respond to most applicants. If we believe you may be a potential match for the cat(s) we will respond to you via email. This email will detail all the next steps required in order for you to be officially approved as an adopter. Our email can easily be flagged as spam/junk so please check those folders for our response.

We will ask all potential adopters who pass the first step to submit/complete the following;
-2+ personal references
-1+ veterinary reference
-home interior photos/videos
-your pet policy from the apartment management or landlord
-1+ alternative caretaker(s) identified for the cat
-schedule a phone interview with a member of our team

*General inquiries about any cat cannot be responded to without an application submitted first. If the cat is on petfinder.com the cat is still available.

Adoption fee is non-negotiable.
What your (tax deductible) adoption fee/donation covers:

Spay/Neuter surgery
Full vaccinations (2 x distemper/FVRCP and feline rabies)
Blood Tests - FIV, FLeV, Heartworm, in some cases additional blood work
Anti-Parasitics - all cats are dewormed, treated for fleas/ticks, ear mites.
Microchipped - All cats have a registered microchip
Travel Passes/Fees- the adoption fee also pays for the cat's travel

*Please keep in mind that a majority of the cats for adoption from the Middle East were found in terrible health condition, some requiring extensive veterinary care and/or surgery. We do not increase the adoption fee despite the additional funds used to rehabilitate these cats.
