Vita’s FAQs

What is All God's Creatures Inc.’s adoption process?

Adopting a companion animal shouldn’t be taken lightly. It takes a tremendous amount of understanding, patience, time and heart.  All potential adopters must submit an application for approval. If you have existing pets they must be up to date on there vaccinations and spay/neutered or have a medical waiver from spay/neuter from your vet. The first step in the process is to complete our application. Please allow at least 48 hours for us to process. If your application is approved we will contact you in order to discuss details. We will then schedule a meet and greet which is done in the potential adopters home when ever driving distance permits. When we come to the home we bring our rescued pet with us. All family members residing in the household should be present. If there are other pets in the home, neutral territory is key. It’s our hope that we will see a connection between our pets and there potential family. We Will discuss food, walks and care. If at the end of our visit we all agree that our rescued pet is the right fit. The adoption will officially take place at that time. The adoption contract will be signed and adoption fees paid by check or cash. We do take a photo of you with your new adopted pet for our social media page.
