Virginia Domestic Short Hair Groveland, MA

Sweet Virginia was living around an apartment complex in Mississippi, being fed by a local resident. When the resident got ready to move, they asked one of our rescuers if they could help Virginia find a real home. She has been living in a foster home for a couple of months. While she was nervous and cautious at first, she has grown to be happy and content inside. Virginia is a peaceful, quiet kitty who seems happy to gaze out the window and take naps on a soft blanket. While she has gotten used to the other cats and dogs in her foster home, it would likely take her time to adjust to new furry friends and she might be happiest in a home where she is the center of someone's world. Please remember that Virginia has been through some changes in the past few months and might seem a little nervous adjusting to a new environment, but give her just a little time and her delightful personality will start to bloom!

Virginia is in foster in Mississippi, and will make the journey North when she has an adopter lined up!

Everybody loves kittens, and it's not hard to see why! Bringing home a kitten (or two!) means your home is about to be 1000% more adorable. Because kittens are much happier with a feline friend, we only adopt kittens who are under 4 months old out in pairs, or to families who already have a resident friendly cat playmate. If you are looking for a solo cat, please consider one of our friendly available older kittens, teens or adults!

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
