Meet VERO at the cattery inside our partner Wags! Dog & Cat Emporium, 136 Oakway Rd., Eugene, Oregon 97401.

VERO is a mostly black, male young cat with tiny white tufts of fur on his chest and belly, about 10 months old. Vero is an independent cat who is full of energy and spunk. He plays with his foster family if they are around, but he will also flip toys in the air to play by himself. He loves anything with feathers, especially a DaBird wand toy. Vero's favorite lounge spot is in the window, and he makes cute chirping sounds at the birds outside. Vero is shy with people, but once he feels safe, he enjoys being pet. He loves head, neck and shoulder massages the best. Vero must go to a home with another friendly cat, as he absolutely wants friends and is a good listener to other cats' boundaries. Vero and his family were trapped in downtown Eugene (a couple blocks away from the coffee shop after which he was named) and placed in a loving foster home. Vero took a while to warm up to being in foster care. He is shy of new things, but he is also very curious and will adventure and explore new spaces with enthusiasm. Vero is a super fun cat to play with, as he likes to flop on and around things as he plays. He would love to be in a home where he can expend his energy and then rest while looking at birds out a window.

Vero has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners.
