Meet Vera

We want you to meet Vera! She has been with Hospice Hearts for months, we think she is around 12 years old. She's really quite healthy for her age, but does have hyperthyroid. It's very easily managed with twice daily application of thyroid gel to her ears. Her eyes are a little weepy and need to be cleaned every couple of days. She is calm and cooperative for both because she knows she gets a treat when we are done!

Vera is quite the lap kitty! She purrs and loves pets! Vera is rooming with Arlette, another middle aged kitty. It would be great if they could stay together but they are not bonded. She's fine with calm dogs and everyone she has met but would be content to be your one and only!
