Meet Venus & Serena (Bonded Pair) - Pending Adoption
Venus & Serena are a bonded pair of 3 year old kitty sisters looking for their forever home together!
Venus is a sweet and affectionate girl who is slow to warm up to new people, but once you have gained her trust, she is aggressively affectionate and will nudge you to give her pets and head scratches; she loves cuddling and being around her humans. When she's not cuddling, she loves a nap under a blankie or watching the world outside her window. She is relatively low-energy and a low-maintenance girl!
Serena is a confident and curious cat. She likes to explore and interact with her surroundings. She's the first to say hello to new people, but can be a little jealous when her sister is getting attention, and is a trouble maker that likes to jump up on counters/shelves. Serena loves playing with laser pointers and mouse toys. She has grown an affinity for bathroom rugs and will excitedly roll around and scratch them. She also loves to sunbathe!
Venus & Serena currently live with two adults. They do not have experience with young children and would not be a fit for a home with other pets.
It is important for their forever home to understand that transferring from location to location and meeting new people is especially stressful for Venus. She needs space to decompress and get used to a new environment, and requires a lot of patience to allow her to get comfortable on her own time. Having her own bedroom or space to be alone with minimal interaction with people for the first month or two would allow her to thrive in her new home.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.
Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
