Venus and Serena are two 4-year old sisters who are sweet, cuddly, curious, playful, and deeply affectionate. These two were found and rescued as wild kittens, but now their sweet nature and individual personalities have blossomed and they are ready to find their forever home.

These two were named for the famous tennis players, Venus and Serena Williams, but do not be fooled! Venus (black nose) is a total lazy chunk and the shyer of the two. With a little help from catnip, she loves to play and will carry around toy mice in her mouth and meow proudly to announce that she has caught one! She is a true cuddler at heart, though, and loves to be picked up and held by those she trusts for extra cuddles and kisses.

Serena (pink nose) is a more confident and adventurous kitty and will chase a laser pointer toy for hours or find a perch to observe the goings on around her. Both will purr instantaneously upon receiving attention. Oftentimes, they will attempt to meow while purring to let you know how much they love it (we call these sounds space ship noises). These two love cuddling together and will climb up into your lap any chance they get!

Currently, they live in a 2-bedroom apartment. Their ideal home would have enough space for them to have their own sanctuary as they do need alone time from each other.

Venus and Serena would do well in a home without other animals or children. They will need caretakers who are patient and willing to let them become comfortable in their new environment at their own pace. Serena will warm up sooner than Venus will, but Venus learns by watching how Serena interacts with others!

They would also do well with someone who has previously owned cats. These two will let you know when they need more space if you can read their behavioral cues, and after building a relationship built on trust and respect, will become the most loyal and loving animals you could ever imagine.

Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
