Velvet Age: 3 year Sex: Female Velvet is a gentle, patient mama cat who has just raised her last litter of adorable kittens. With her motherly duties behind her, Velvet is now looking for a leisurely life as a beloved pet. She is a nice blend of calm, friendly, and sassy. Her tranquil demeanour makes her an ideal companion for anyone seeking a peaceful presence. She loves head rubs, cozy naps in sunny spots, tube treats and Performatrin Ultra chicken in gravy. Velvet loves to sit back and watch the daily household activities. She seems to be pretty easy going and not particularly bothered by daily household sounds. (ie vacuum or coffee grinder) Velvet is a sweet cat with a bit of a quirky habit—she occasionally gives gentle bites. These mild bites are her way of expressing herself. With time, patience and the chance to be a young, playful cat, she will learn to let you know what she wants in other more appropriate ways. Due to this quirk she is not suitable for a household with young children and we think she'd prefer to be the only kitty in the home. However, she did do well in a household with cat savvy teenagers.
