FIV+Vance is a large, gentle, laid-back cat who we think is about two years old. This super friendly guy went into one of our traps during a TNR project. He had previously been neutered, but we were unable to find his owner. He was ear-tipped because we didn't realize he was friendly! He just needed a few days to let his personality shine - he loves attention and is a little bit chatty! He lives with other cats in his foster home and gets along well with them. He is FIV-positive, but don't let that worry you. FIV-positive simply means that it is important to keep him healthy and current on vaccines. FIV-positive cats can and do live with FIV-negative cats and typically live as long as FIV-negative cats. If you'd like to meet Vance or think this cat would be a good match for your family, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.trentoncats.org/adoption-questionnaire/ and let your references know someone will be contacting them soon. All our cats are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea-treated, tested for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped prior to adoption. Thanks for opting to adopt!
