Meet Van

Meet our ultimate (wallflower) bachelor, Van. He’s got the looks and the awesome personality to match. Just make sure you give him the time he needs to come out of his shell. Once you’re in, he’ll turn up the charm and will flirt his paws away. The volunteers who spend that extra one on one time with him know that it’s so incredibly rewarding to see that side of him, and we know that in a calm and patient home, he’ll fully lean into that version of himself. Please note that he is a skittish and wary cat, and we suspect he’ll always have that in him. But if you can provide him with that warm environment, we know he’s also a snuggle bug that will climb into bed with you at night for some companionship.

If you’re looking for a lowkey buddy that may take some time to warm up, Van might be the one. He’s a bit of a “project” kitty but we know he’ll be worth every bit of effort put into getting him comfortable in a home.
