Meet Valerie
Meet Valerie,
Miss Valerie was dumped by her owners in a park in February, left to fend for herself with no food or shelter from the elements . She was trapped and brought into foster care on Valentine's Day, hence the name Valerie. She is just the sweetest girl. She loves being petted, you can hold her and carry her around. She is easily handled to put into a carrier. She starts making air biscuits as soon as foster mom comes into the room, and will rub against her for attention. She eats very well and uses her litterbox, and loves the scratching post. She has been around a couple of cats in the foster home. She will hiss and make noises at them but never shows any signs of agression towards them. She will just start playing with toys or look out the window at the birds on the feeder. She does get scared of loud noises, so would be better in a quiet home as an only cat or maybe with one other friendly, welcoming cat. This beautiful girl would make a great addition to your family. Why don't you come on over (and meet) Valerie.
Valerie was born around the end of February 2022 and is currently being fostered in Waterbury.
She is fixed, has had her rabies and first distemper shots, is microchipped and tested neg for FIV/FeLV* All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Application for adoption can be found at https://www.fosterandforever.org/ Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24 - 48 hrs.
