Meet Ursa Major
Ursa Major is an overstuffed orange and white whirlwind of a cat! This girl came to us after her owner could no longer care for her, and she is such a happy girl who loves people and the cuddles they provide! This 13 pound, 4 year old long haired kitty has bright yellowish-green eyes and she always looks like she is smiling! She is SUPER chatty and will have a whole conversation with you every time she sees you. She loves pets and cuddles, is very receptive to being held. She might give some love nibbles when she gets too excited, so try not to rile her up too much!
We recently learned that Ursa Major is NOT a fan of needles, so she would be a good idea to give her Gabapentin before any major vet visits. She also recently met our dog, and she is not a fan of him and the noise he makes. That will most likely go away with time, so we are not trying to limit her as being the only pet in her new home at this time. He is just new to her, and she doesn’t know what to think of him yet. Like any animal, she will need an adjustment period, whether you have other pets or not in your home.
Ursa Major is fixed and will be up to date on her shots in a few weeks, but we are accepting applications for this big ol’ teddy bear NOW!
