A bit about Tsunami:
Hi! My life started out a bit rough, as I was found outside with my two brothers at 4 weeks of age. We were brought into the shelter, where luckily the staff immediately reached out to a rescue to give us the best chance at life. The next day, we arrived at our amazing foster home! I was very malnourished and weak, so I was unable to use my back legs. However, with good nutrition, a safe place to sleep and some physical therapy, I was bouncing around after my brothers in no time. I still run a bit wonky, but I am strong and healthy with no lasting complications. I am an extremely cuddly and affectionate girl and I absolutely love to be part of everything that the humans are doing.
Things I LOVE:
• I love playing with my two brothers, and the other cats in my foster home. For this reason, I must be adopted with or into a home with another cat. (Adopt a 2nd kitty from us with Tsunami for ½ the adoption fee!)
• I love curling up on my foster mom’s lap while she studies, works and reads. I will need a home where my humans want a cuddle buddy, and I would love to curl up to them each night.
• I love running up and down cat posts and trees. Once I was able to use my back legs, I found that running up and down things was pretty awesome!
• I love crinkle toys, twigs (plants will need to be kept up high from this girl), laser light, feather wands and stuffed mice. I am a kitten, so any new fun toy will help me stay active and happy. I am always excited to discover new toys and things to explore.
• I love my wet food. Keeping wet food in a kitten/cat’s diet for life is the healthiest for them.
• I love belly rubs and will roll around on my back in the cutest positions as my foster mom scratches my belly, especially as I am waking up from naps!
• I love sitting out on the deck watching birds as my foster mom reads. I also love to chase bugs; however, I get distracted by pretty much everything so the bugs always get away- for now!
Things I NEED in my forever home:
• To be in a home with another cat or kitten as a buddy.
• A family who wants an affectionate, cuddly cat.
• Scratch posts, a scratch tree, toys, cuddly beds and blankets.
• A high quality wet and dry food. (She occasionally gets an upset tummy; however, a good quality wet and dry food has prevented any further tummy issues. Her foster mom will let her new family know what has been working great for her.)
• A family that is committed to keeping up with my vet appointments and assuring that I am a family member that is cherished and loved for the next 20+ years. (Adopting a new pet is a huge commitment and this little girl deserves the world, so please make sure that when you apply you are ready to make such an important decision.)
