Meet approx. 7 month old stunning Tripod Siblings Trixie and Triton!

We were contacted to help this unexpected pair as they had taken up residence in a cat shelter on someone’s front lawn in Queens with no owner to be found. Yes it’s true, these two 3-legged kit kats were galavanting on the streets with no idea how dangerous it was for them!

This bonded duo are not only gorgeous but they are sweet and gentle. They are good being handled and loved. Trixie especially is an absolute mush and loves attention.

These two were each born missing a leg. We speculate their umbilical cord may have wrapped around each limb, as we have seen this happen to more than one littermate in occasionally in the past. All their medical has been done and their disability will require no extra care. Trixie did require corrective surgery as she had bone exposed which was painful, but since her surgery, she’s really happy and comfortable.

They should be good with both dogs and cats but with a slow introduction. This pair is gentle and sweet natured they would good with kids who have been taught how to interact with cats.

They are negative for FIV/FELV, spayed/neutered, and current with vaccines.
