Travis loves to be next to you, especially under the covers with you being his big spoon. Don’t mistake him for lazy though – he is part panther, part acrobat and his favorite game to play is chase the crinkle toy. He will keep you entertained for hours! When he gets excited (which is every time he sees you) he does circles until you pet him. He is also sensitive to your emotions. At mealtime he always comes over to check in on you before scarfing down his food.

Travis loves people, other cats, and my two small dogs. He has been around kids ages 9 months – 10 years old and has gotten along with them as well.

You may notice Travis has only one eye. Don’t feel bad for him, he likes to pretend to be a pirate! Travis was born with an undeveloped eye and has never been able to see out of it. It was removed to prevent any complications from developing. He had something called feline eyelid agenesis in his other eye, which is where his eyelid is not fully formed. He had a corrective procedure called cryoepilation done to remove any hairs from agitating his eye. You may notice some white hairs around his eye which is common after the procedure, but his eye is now in perfect health.
