Tostitos Fersch Domestic Short Hair Merrifield, VA

Tostitos was rescued from a home in Virginia after a 4Paws volunteer learned that the parents didn't want him any longer and planned to just put him out on the street.

He needs to be the only pet in the home, as he has demonstrated in foster that he does not welcome other cats in his personal space. His foster mom made multiple attempts to integrate him with the resident cats, all of which are friendly and are accustomed to new fosters passing through, but Tostitos was continuously hostile to them and had to be kept separated.

Being a single cat won't be a problem for Tostitos as he is at his happiest when he's getting loved on by his human. He will head-butt your hand to get petted and he adores getting head and chin scritches. He will flop over on his side and roll around in ecstasy when he gets the head rubs. He does not care to be picked up (he gets really squirmy) but he will lie next to you for what seems like hours in delight as long as you keep scratching his head and chin.

He has a good appetite, with all-day access to a high quality chicken kibble and twice-daily servings of juicy Fancy Feast, which he loves. In the foster home he was using a high-sided litter box with unscented litter.

Tostitos is about 3 years old. He is neutered, current on vaccines, tested negative for FiV/FeLV, and has been micro chipped.
