What do you get when you mix a Russian Blue w/ an Oriental Short Hair? Torvi! Well, we can't say with any certainty what breed mix she is but we can say that this little leftover Shield Maiden is such a good, sweet, fun little girl.
Ready to rock and roll in a home w/ other cats and a dog is quite ok. About 8m, she has watched her siblings and friends be adopted and now she is left living w/ adult cats, a dog, and a human...no kitties:( So please apply for her if you have someone in the smaller spunky make department for her to play and cuddle with--no children as she is a bit shy!

Torvi needs at least one other NICE feline, time to acclimate, a quiet home and experienced adopters. Thank you for understanding and if this sounds like your home, please apply.

All our cats are in the NY area and can be adopted out of state. We do like to meet you so plan on picking up; if flying, in cabin only; in some cases we will help with transport.

Please note: kittens MUST be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we are happy to recommend cats who would do best as solos. Cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/Felv tested, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.

Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application by Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, you can perhaps foster, volunteer, and of course, you can always donate!
