Meet Toonie- wonderful, little girl in foster but cannot stay there forever!! Needs a HOME!
Toonie is a roughly 1.5-2 year old female, cat and polite-dog friendly little shadow who is pretty undemanding other than following you around.
Like most cats, she seems to thrive on routine and is learning lots at camp!
From head counselor Susan:
"Update from camp (9/12/25):
Petunia (nickname Toonie) is a superstar!
She has adapted to home life beautifully in just 10 days! Counselor Rudy and I are so impressed. She makes the cutest chirp sound when she wants attention. She is so smart. She waits on the magic treat rug with Rudy the minute she hears the bag of party mix come out of the closet.
She visits us in my basement office (to make sure I am not goofing off at work) and today was the first day she spent free to roam the house when I went out. She did great! We are so proud of her!
She is the whole package. Brains, beauty and a big heart!"
** Petunia, like all of our other cats, is an indoor ONLY cat.
The average life span of an outdoor feral is two years. Outdoor cats are subject to these same elements and risk a distressing death.
