Meet Toby

To learn more about this kitty, please email adopt@catsrusrescue.org or submit an adoption application online at https://catsrusrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application

Toby is an older siamese mix kitten (9 months) who is affectionate with people and loves to play with other cats. He is a little cautious until he gets to know new people, but loves pets and some lap time. We are seeking a home for Toby with another cat/kitten for company (he loves the other cats in his foster home) and a somewhat quiet home with adults or older children. Toby gets along with dogs.

Update 1/2025: Toby had a dental procedure to remove 14 teeth due to a condition know as stomatitis that causes gum inflammation. This seems like a drastic procedure, but it does not prevent Toby from eating both wet and dry food. Now that his mouth has healed, our vet deemed him healthy and ready for adoption! His foster reports that Toby is especially loveable lounging in bed with her, giving lots of snuggles, puts his head into her hand (see photo), and kneads the blankets, how adorable!

All of our cats and kittens are rescues. They are mixed breed unless otherwise noted. If a cat or kitten is designated as a particular breed we do not have papers to verify the breed information. We assign breeds to our cats and kittens based on similar appearance, size, and temperament as described in the breed description of a purebred cat.

Our adoption fee is $120.00 for kittens under 1 year (2 for $200), $100 for cats over 1 year (2 for $180), and $150 - $250 for exotic breed cats or kittens. We do not have our own spay/neuter clinic so the adoption fee we charge helps our rescue pay for a portion of vet fees incurred to prepare a cat or kitten for adoption. The adoption fee includes a wellness exam, spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, FeLV and FIV testing (negative/negative unless otherwise noted), treatment for parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, ear mites), and microchipping.
