Tiny Tuxie and Model Kitty Domestic Short Hair Melrose, MA

Tiny Tuxie and Model Kitty are a petite bonded pair of sisters, about two years old, although they are about the size of eight-month-old kittens. They lost their home because the person who meant the world to them chose to move to a place where cats are not allowed. They took this betrayal rather hard, so it's understandable why they would have a hard time trusting humans again, so they are rather shy. Thanks to the patience of their foster mom, they've progressed to the point of eating treats out of her hand, sleeping in her bed, and accepting increasing amounts of petting. When they're not chasing toys or each other, they're snuggling with each other. Because they are a bonded pair, we would not dream of separating them, so they must be adopted together. They're mischievous and loads of fun, but they need to be adopted by someone who's experienced with cats and who will be patient enough to help them adjust to their new homes. We will certainly provide pointers.

They have been:
- spayed
- vaccinated as age-appropriate
- tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
- examined and determined to be healthy

Their adopters will receive their medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. Because they are shy and will need patience from their adopters, their adoption fee has been discounted to only $75 for both. They are being fostered in Revere.

Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time.
