Meet Tinkerbell

Meet Tinkerbell!
Just like her namesake, Tinkerbell is our sassy little girl with a big personality! She can be a little shy at first and sometimes will even play coy by pretending to dodge your affection until finally deciding you're worthy of giving her love and attention. And once you're in and Tink has decided she likes you, she will push her entire head into you for full body pets. But don't you dare stop until she scurries away because if you stop and she wants more, she will sassily meow at you and follow after you demanding more affection. Tinkerbell has shown her sassy, independent side with the other cats in the free roaming cat room and will definitely tell them if they're bothering her or invading her space. She prefers the cats that will give her space and respect her boundaries. Tink is also a special kitty in that she loves to play peek a boo! Several times a day she'll bounce up and look into the front office looking for a buddy to play and when she does, her and the human will go back and forth playing peek a boo! It's adorable! So if you're looking for an older kitten with spunk and sass and personality, Tinkerbell is your girl!

Kittens require a significant amount of patience and training to learn how to behave properly in a home. The first few months of having a kitten is a critical time to improve socialization and help your kitten become confident. Exposing your kitten to all kinds of touch, sounds, people, and animals can ensure a well-socialized adult cat. Remember, kittens aren't born knowing how to live in a human's world, it is up to you to teach them how to make good decisions in a positive and caring manner. The more positive interactions they have in their first year of life will set them up for better behavior in the future.

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
