Meet Tinkerbell
“Tinkerbell”
Special Needs- She was born with 3legs and 1 partial leg (this does not affect her in any way), missing some teeth so must be given wet food daily along with dry. She has had chronic upper respiratory issues her whole life, so may require antibiotics from time to time. She does sneeze, so keeping her nose clean as well will keep her healthy.
Date of Birth- August 1, 2010
Date of Rescue- 12/27/2019
Date of Original Rescue- 8/31/2010
Gender- Female(spayed)
Color/Breed/Fur Length-Torbie/DSH/Short
About Me-
Tinkerbell is an absolute sweetheart. She is a complete social butterfly who loves absolutely everyone she meets. On 8/31/2010, we got a call from a concerned person who said there was a kitten being abused by neighbor kids. Right away we drove out and picked her up. She was very shaken from her awful experience, but her eyes begged for help and to be loved. We noticed that she only had 3 functioning legs, with the 4th a partial leg which was most likely how she was born. She has had chronic upper respiratory infections, but with a good quality food and clean environment will keep her healthy. She does sneeze quite a bit, and may require antibiotics from time to time.
On 9/23/2017, TInkerbell was adopted into an incredible home who loved her and cared for her very well. Unfortunately, the family had to move into a new place in a new town and could not find anywhere that would rent to them that would allow for 4 cats. The other 3cats they had rescued from shelters, so they knew that we would make sure to find Tinkerbell another wonderful home. Her previous family had a full vet check on her, a dental, and clean bill of health prior to bringing her back and we love them for getting her so well taken care of. We got Tinkerbell back on 12/27/2019, and her personality didn’t change a bit. She is still a complete love bug, who will make friends with everyone she meets.
*She loves to make biscuits on her super soft fleece blankets and curl up next to her humans.
*She loves to meet new people and make them her new friends.
*She loves wet foods, and must have this in her daily diet due to her mouth.
*She loves playing with her mouse toys, and running up her cat towers to get to the very top.
Best Type of Home-
Tinkerbell is great with children, other cats, and dogs. She will need another cat in the home as a buddy or a family who is home quite a bit to keep her company. She must have wet food given to her daily, as she is missing some teeth. Dry food should be offered as well. She should have a cat tree/tower to play on and keep her active and healthy. And of course, a family who will pamper her and spoil her.
Notes-
She is Spayed, Vaccinated, Microchipped
