Meet Timothy
Adoption Fees Waived!
I'm a Bashful Buddy! Bashful buddies are timid kitties. They need patience, time and understanding to feel comfortable in their new home. They often enjoy the presence of other cats and may benefit from a feline friend. When a bashful buddy learns to trust you, it's the most rewarding relationship!
Timothy was living as an indoor/outdoor cat in a large group of other cats when he was brought to the shelter. The sudden change has been a lot for Timothy. His foster mom has been working patiently with him, and he's been showing his loving side more and more each day! He's discovered a love for pets and belly rubs, and his purrs and gentle head bumps are proof of just how much he appreciates human affection.
In addition to his shy nature, Timothy has been diagnosed with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). However, don't let that deter you from considering him as a beloved companion. FIV cannot be transmitted to humans or other animals, and cats with FIV can live long, happy lives with proper care. Cats with FIV are often overlooked in shelters, and Timothy is hoping to find a home where he can be loved and accepted for who he is.
Timothy's ideal home would be one that understands his needs and is willing to provide him with the patience, time, and understanding he requires to feel comfortable. He may benefit from the presence of another feline friend who can help him build confidence and feel more at ease.
