Meet Tigress
Tigress came to ADOPT in April of 2014 from Pike County Animal Control. She was born in 2013.
My name is Tigress and I came to ADOPT when I was pregnant. My kids grew up around people and adapted to them quite well. For me, it was like older folks trying to adapt to computers. It takes time for me to feel comfortable with people.
Even though I am shy, I really do like attention. When I see a hand coming towards me, it is very scary but, if you hold you hand out and let me take a sniff, I will duck my head down to let you know it is OK to pet me.
I get along just fine with other cats and would do fine with older children who understand cats. Don't know about dogs since I have never met one.
As you can see, I love food so could stand to get some exercise. Playing with wand toys and laser lights would be a good way to help me slim down and interact with you at the same time.
