Health
Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs. Medial info: This pet has been diagnosed with a disease called feline leukemia virus (FeLV). FeLV is a contagious viral immunodeficiency disease of cats that can lead to severe lethargy, anemia, and cancer. There is no cure for FeLV and it is ultimately fatal. It is difficult to predict how long a cat with FeLV will live. Some cats with this disease can live for many years with a good quality of life, while others may pass away within weeks to months after diagnosis. As with all pets, cats with FeLV require regular veterinary visits. FeLV is spread through sharing bowls, grooming, and general contact with infected cats. It is not spread to dogs or people. Due to the risk of spreading this disease FeLV positive cats must be kept indoors at all times and they should not live with any other cats. If you'd like to meet me, submit an application through the Adoption Resources page: https://www.baltimorecountymd.gov/departments/animalservices/adoption-resources.html.

Meet Tigger

***Special Needs - Adoption Fee Waived*** Hi there, I'm Tigger. I found my to the shelter due to my previous owner no longer able to care for me. I may be a little timid at first when you meet me, but I do warm right up. I am pretty active and love attention. It is unknown if I have lived with other cats, dogs, or children. A home with older children would suit me best. Medial info: This pet has been diagnosed with a disease called feline leukemia virus (FeLV).
