Meet Thumper

Thumper is a special cat who will need a special owner. Approximately 8 months old, Thumper was found on the streets living as part of a feral cat colony. However, he didn't seem feral, so we decided not to TNR him. Shy and wary of people, he has shown the potential to become a housecat by bonding with his current caretaker, who unfortunately can't keep him long-term. He loves to be petted, and food is his favorite thing in the world. He's not a fan of being picked up, and he hides around strangers. However, he's very gentle and has never once tried to scratch or bite anyone who scared him. We need a patient person willing to work with Thumper and show him love and affection so that we don't have to release him to the streets again. We will happily consider a foster-to-adopt scenario.
