It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.


THOR and his brother LOKI were living in a tough area in Hemet, California. These poor boys were living in an isolated area where they hid in a abandoned warehouse. Then they were dumped at the Ramona Humane Society in San Jacinto, California. Once discovered, the shelter reached out to us and asked to help. So we went to pick them. We got them all healthy and got them adopted.


To our dismay we got a call 5 years later that they were at a different shelter. When we reached out to the family we were told that after 5 years, the wife had all of a sudden developed allergies and they just could not keep them anymore. So here we go again. This time we will be more diligent to get them their true FUREVER home.


THOR has known the street life for a very short time. With all the tragedy that has happened to this boy and his brother, they deserves to be have a wonderful home.


THOR is an absolute love bug!!!. He can be shy at first, but then will paw at you to love on him. You can see in his sweet little face, he is has the look of wanting love. THOR loves to be carried around. They aren't bonded, but have lived their whole lives together. We would love to get the boys adopted together.


THOR is DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / MAINECOON-TABBY MIX. He's huge! He is about 6 years old and is good with cats. He is really good with his brother LOKI. He has never been around kids or dogs.


THOR is currently at PETSMART > off Madison Avenue.


ADOPTION PROCESS:

1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT)
2. Fill Out Online Form
3. Submit Online Application
4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview
5. Will be notified of Approved Application
6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED)
7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty
8. Sign Adoption Contract
9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)
10. Take the Kitty Home

JANUARY 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.


Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability.
