Thing 1 Domestic Short Hair Mix Santa Fe, NM

HISTORY: THING 1 was abandoned as a pregnant kitten near the Rancho Carrera Apartments. With the help of Gatos de Santa Fe, she was tested, vaccinated, spayed, and released back outdoors. But THING 1 was not feral and was welcomed into a foster home along with her kitten, THING 2.
TEMPERAMENT: THING 1 took time to become comfortable living with other cats at Felines and Friends, but she recently moved to a new foster home where she has become very playful. She loves chasing toy mice and she sleeps next to her foster mom or in a great cat tree next to the bed. THING 1 is extremely affectionate and loves chin rubs and gentle petting. So far, not a lap cat but that might come with time. She will do best in a quiet house with a person who will let her trust at her own pace.
