Update: Jasmine had bladder stones so both cats are now eating Hills CD prescription food. She will need to stay on this food for life.


This is Theo and Jasmine, who also goes by Jazzy. They are a bonded pair that need to be in a home together. Theo will be 10 in October and Jazzy is 7, almost 8. Jazzy and Theo's elderly parents passed away last year. They spent about 3 months in their house alone with food being dropped off for them about once a week. We found out about them and took them into a room in our home so that they could get regular attention and be in a house with people while we search for their forever home.
Theo is a big boy domestic shorthair who is a bit more on the shy side and takes a couple days to warm up, but once he does, he is very loving. He's a gentle giant and food is the way to his heart.
Jasmine is more of a social butterfly and warms up pretty quickly. She loves to play, especially with stick toys, and enjoys being brushed. Jazzy is a domestic longhair, so she will require regular brushing and possibly an occasional grooming to keep matting out of her beautiful fur.
Both cats have recently gotten their rabies vaccines in October 2024, and Jazzy recently has had a full groom. They are both spayed/neutered, litterbox trained, and come with some limited vet history. They both come with their own cat carriers. With proper introduction, I think they would be fine with other cats and low energy dogs. I would say they would be best suited in a home with older children or just adults.
