Meet The Professor

THE PROFESSOR is all about fun - he is an all black male kitty with short, sleek fur and big eyes and ears, about 4 months old. Goofy, playful, friendly, ready to try any toy or game available! He loves small toys like balls and toy mice that he can carry around in his mouth, and he appreciates having them tossed so he can chase after them (though he won't bring them back!). He also loves Cat Dancers and other dangly toys that look like bugs flying through the air. He's very social with humans and his siblings; he will definitely need constant company in his new home (feline or human, but preferably both!). He's the largest and most outgoing of his litter, and a very loving and entertaining kitty. However, he is curious and social and loves attention, so with a safe and patient environment he will likely do well in most households. He has interacted with a calm, 50 lb lab/GSD mix resident dog. Because he is so social, he would likely make friends with a calm and respectful dog. His new family should plan on slow, patient introductions. As an active young kitten, it is very important that The Professor be adopted into a household with another kitten such as his siblings Maryann, Skipper, or Gilligan or playful young cat for companionship. The Professor is silly, playful, and sweet -- a great choice for someone who wants lots of kitty love and attention, and has lots of love and attention to give!

The Professor has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners. To meet The Professor in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $165 ($300 for 2 Kittens) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
