Meet TeTe

TeTe came to Oasis in November of 2019 along with her older male companion, Gus, who was a diabetic cat. Gussie and TeTe were originally owned by a woman who passed away, and the cats went to live with the woman's brother. Due to unforeseen circumstances they ended up at Oasis on a temporary basis but then the man unexpectedly passed away. The cats became residents of the facility. Gussie and she were inseparable, and she guarded Gus probably because he did not see well. Gussie passed away in September, 2021 , leaving TeTe alone. She definitely does not want the companionship of other cats and needs to be an "only pet". TeTe is our full-figured gal at the sanctuary, enjoys attention, and sometimes looks for a lap to curl up in. Her favorite spot, besides her covered bed, is the in-box on the manager's desk. She is as protective of "her spot" as Sheldon Cooper is! TeTe would need a quiet home with no other animals to be most comfortable. After her many losses in life, we hope she can finally find a happy home to live out the rest of hers. She is in good health. Please note her birthday is estimated.
