Meet Tennessee
TENNESSEE is a gorgeous male medium-haired orange tabby cat with beautiful golden eyes. Tennessee loves to play, and he is obsessed with Churu treats (see photo). You can get him to do anything for a Churu! He's a bit shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, he starts exploring the house and his new surroundings. He has been known to happily drool with petting, and he loves his chin scratches. Tennessee came to our cat rescue group when he was only a couple months old. He was rescued from a colony and raised in a loving foster home. He'll take a few weeks to fully warm up (helped along by Churus!), but once he's comfortable, he'll be a great, loving companion.
Note: Tennessee is a miracle cat. He beat FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a normally incurable disease, and although he will require some extra monitoring over the next 6 months, and then yearly monitoring after that, he's now a happy, healthy cat eager to find his new home.
Tennessee has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Tennessee in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy available at the store. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The $145 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. ID# 2206-C0272
