Meet Ted - Important message in my bio!

IMPORTANT!!!!!
Due to Covid-19, the SPCA of Westchester is closed to the public. Rest assured, our kennel staff and trainers will be present daily to take care of the animals, exercise them and provide them with loving care!

At the moment, we are accepting applications to adopt via email only. Submitting an application does not guarantee a meet and greet as we are scheduling limited meet and greets to continue to keep our staff and the public safe. Please submit your applications/questionnaires to shelter@spca914.org and allow 2-3 days for a response. We thank you for your understanding!

Please consider making a donation to help care for our animals during this difficult time. Email shelter@spca914.org if you have any questions!

Ted is a sweet, low-key guy who loves to be petted. He also loves birds, but he's not good with other animals. Please stop by to meet him and talk to the staff about this gentleman.

When to Come: (Unless different date stated above)
Unless noted differently above, our hours are Monday-Saturday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m.-4 p.m. Our adoptions are first-come, first-served based on the best match.

What to Bring:
Please bring a copy of your current pet(s)’ vaccination records and a copy of your lease (if you rent or own a condo/co-op/townhouse) in case we are unable to get hold of your veterinarian or landlord/management company on the day you come in.

We do same-day adoptions, except in the case of dogs who require more than one visit prior to adoption. Our adoptions are first-come, first-served based on the best match.

We do not accept adoption fee deposits in advance, nor do we hold animals, unless it is an animal who requires more than one visit prior to adoption. In this case, an appointment can be scheduled with a senior staff member or trainer.
