Meet Teacup
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Teacup - she's staying in one of our kitten rooms even though she's an adult, because she already reached her full size and is so small still. She has a cute tail that curls over her back and is good with other cats.
Teacup! Much to be grateful for. Her babies are safe, she is
safe,
and she is living in the moment. Her terrible times are in the past.
And we at Catsnap are grateful. We get to be part of this lovely girl's life. For now, we are her people. Teacup says she is done having kittens and is ready to be the center of attention for a change. She enjoys head pets and watching the kittens run. Her favorite spot is to be cuddled up inside a cat tree cube or cat bed so that she can stay warm but still be high enough to watch the room. She's ready to be the baby now! Will you be her new mom or dad? She doesn't mind being around other cats and has been slowly but surely teaching the other kittens to open up more to humans. She likes to jump high places and to sleep on the cushiest of beds.
Because of her terrible life outside she was attacked by another cat and now has FIV.
Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is one of the most common and consequential infectious diseases of cats around the world. In infected cats, FIV attacks the immune system, leaving the cat vulnerable to many other infections. Although cats infected with FIV may appear normal for years, they eventually suffer from immune deficiency, which allows normally harmless bacteria, viruses, protozoa, and fungi found in the everyday environment to potentially cause severe illnesses. Though there is no cure for FIV, recent studies suggest that cats with FIV commonly live average life spans, as long as they are not also infected with feline leukemia virus. And we are glad to say she tested negative for that.
Thank you for your interest in a Catsnap cat or kitten!
If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.
We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.
Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved.
All CATsNAP cats and kittens are:
Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus
Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age)
Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV)
Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment
Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions
Micro-chipping as mandated by state law
