Meet Tarzan

Meow! My name is TARZAN, and I am a young male kitty with a short haired coat of orange tabby over white. I would love to come sit on your lap during Zoom meetings or cuddle in bed while you read a book. I'll even occasionally gently paw at you for kisses. You can find me in the big window for most of the morning. I love watching squirrels and birds before nap time. Catching that little red dot is at the top of my bucket list. I absolutely love my sister, FANTASIA. When I wake up from a nap, she's the first thought on my mind, and I call "chirrup" to see what she is doing. If you're thinking of taking me home, FANTASIA needs to come too. We were found in blackberry bushes, on the side of a busy road. I'll be honest, we'll both be a little shy at first, but I'll come out after a little while, especially if you offer me tasty treats. We're both also good friends with our stepsister MOCHA, if you're possibly looking for three new family members. We've never met dogs or tiny humans, but we'd probably be okay with kids who are cat savvy. FANTASIA and I have both tested positive for FIV (the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but we are healthy kitties and will likely have a normal lifespan as indoor-only cats. The virus can't be passed to dogs or to people, and only to other cats through a deep bite wound.

FANTASIA and TARZAN are absolute love bugs, each with their own fun personality, who will bring much joy into your heart and home.

Fantasia and Tarzan have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, are negative for FeLV, and each include a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Fantasia and Tarzan in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt or a paper copy at either Eugene PetSmart location. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 days for a possible meet and greet. The adoption fee for the bonded pair is $110, which allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community.
