Poor TANK recently came to us as an owner surrender at 11 years old when he had difficulty adjusting to life with a new baby in the house. He must have been very loved in his prior home because he is as sweet as can be! He loves to cuddle next to you on the couch and has lived with another cat and a dog. He seeks out love and comfort from shelter staff and volunteers and doesn't understand why he is in a shelter instead of snuggled up with his family. Can you give TANK a place to curl up and be loved again?

All pets at this shelter are up-to-date on shots and will be altered and micro-chipped upon adoption. Please visit our shelter to meet the many adorable orphans that are available for adoption. When inquiring about a specific animal you saw on this website, please include the ID number associated with the animal. We are open 7 days a week from 12pm-4:30pm Monday thru Friday and 12pm-4:30 Saturday & Sunday.

There is an adoption fee required. The Society cannot accept personal checks but we do accept Visa, MC, AE, and cash. IMPORTANT As part of our adoption process, we must have proof of residency. Homeowners must show proof of ownership; a valid lease that states "pets ok" is required for renters before an adoption can be approved. If you do not have a lease with your landlord you will need a notarized letter.
