Tang & Celeste (Male & Female Bonded Pair) Domestic Short Hair Los Angeles, CA

Say hello to Tang & Celeste! They are a bonded pair, however they are filled with their own individual personality quirks. Celeste loves to cuddle and will melt in your arms like butter excited for all the love. Once her little purr motor gets going, it doesn't stop. She does well with dogs and other cats. Tang is a very shy peanut, however once he comes out of his shell, he loves all the head scratches! He enjoys playing with the laser light, and wire dancer toy. Both cats would likely be fine with older, respectful children. They love to play but not as much as they love cuddling together!

Currently in foster care in Long Beach. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation.

All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption.

Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.

We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.

We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.

When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.

If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.
