Tala is a spirited, fun, active and very loving lap cat. She gets along well with other non dominant cats. She is very possessive of her human companion and will guard her right to sit in your lap. Her favorite toy is a blue plastic ball and she likes to play fetch. In the evenings, an hour long game of tag with her companion cats is routine. She likes to chase and climb. She is currently companions with mature cats, Yahtzee who is blind and his brother Iggy.

HOW TO START THE ADOPTIONS PROCESS:

FOR SERIOUS INQUIRIES (and immediate response) please go online to lostpawsrescueoftexas.org and fill out an adoption profile (under forms tab) and email it back to Siamesekatdiva@gmail.com. We give priority to completed applications.

TIMING:

Lost Paws offers same day adoptions BY APPOINTMENT ONLY at this time (the is no waiting period – kitties can go home the same day you meet them). We do not ship our cats. – no exceptions. Through the week, we will set up an appointment to meet with an approved applicant and at the foster parents convenience (we all have F/T jobs too).

ADOPTION FEE:

The adoption fee is $150 plus tax for kittens up to 1 year old, and $125- $75 plus tax for adults (depending on age). The adoption fee covers FIV/FeLeuk testing (all cats must test negative to be adopted), 2 rounds of FVRCP and FeLeuk vaccinations, rabies, and (age appropriate) spay/neuter surgery (if not sterilized before they are adopted), deworming, treatment for ear mites (if applicable), nails trimmed and have been bathed. We also offer courtesy nail trims on the weekends we are at Petsmart. Our associated vet list consists of 10 vets within the DFW area for your convenience.

Adoption events are held on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Saturday of every month from 11:00AM - 3:00PM at the Lewisville PetSmart location. The address is 2325 S. Stemmons Freeway.
